LET’S SHINE SOME LIGHT ON THE MATTER

Wood Drive Lifestyle Centre, a new shopping destination in Sunningdale, Cape Town, opened its doors in October 2024. With no prior online presence, the challenge was to establish and manage a full suite of social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok) to drive awareness and encourage foot traffic to the centre. Arora Online was tasked with delivering a comprehensive strategy, including TikTok marketing, social media marketing, video production, content strategy, paid media, logo development, and reporting/data analysis.

THE LIGHT BULB MOMENT

Our team approached the Wood Drive Lifestyle Centre project with a dynamic, ground-up strategy, launching their social media presence from scratch in October 2024. We blended creative storytelling with data-driven insights, crafting a content strategy that highlighted the centre’s unique offerings while leveraging video production to dominate TikTok and Instagram Reels. Paid media campaigns were meticulously targeted to engage the Sunningdale and broader Cape Town community, while real-time reporting allowed us to refine our approach for maximum impact. 

The success of this initial phase—marked by rapid follower growth, high engagement, and tangible increases in foot traffic—earned the trust of the centre’s management. By late 2024, our proven results led to an expanded contract, entrusting us with full-scale marketing responsibilities, including on-site activations and a comprehensive promotional strategy to elevate Wood Drive Lifestyle Centre’s presence even further in 2025.

The results were delivered! In just three months, the Wood Drive Lifestyle Centre social media pages delivered some impressive results. Instagram reached over 185k users and gained 500 followers, while Facebook boasted over 330k reach and over 1 300 new followers.
